Same here. Clean 11.04 installation, all I did was to enable Partners and then I updated the system. No programs or repositories added. Then, I received the error: The following packages have unmet dependencies: wayland : Depends: libcairo2-dev (= 1.10.2-2) but it is not going to be installed

Timo was right, I had some PPA dependency problems at that moment. @Fabrizio: last time I checked out this, wayland was not installable cause the ubuntu's libcairo has not support for cairo-gl (that is requeriment for the current wayland in ubuntu). cairo-gl was deactivated as it gave multiple
