You have -nvidia installed but are booting into X using the -vesa driver. These drivers use conflicting video libraries, which can cause crashes such as the one you saw. But your real issue is why your system is not booting -nvidia. Your Xorg.0.log gives a hint: [49.222] (EE) NVIDIA:
