Hey andre-k,
Hi, thanks for reporting this issue during the development period of
Ubuntu.
I notice there's not been further comments to the bug report since the
release came out, would you mind updating us on the status of it in the
release?
Are you still able to reproduce the issue? If not,
I used to have auto login in Mythbuntu 10.04. After reintroducing it, I foung
it as a workaround also to this black screen bug. So command:
sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
and configure:
autologin-user=YOUR-USERNAME
autologin-user-timeout=0
user-session=mythbuntu

Lightdm presents a black,
have a look in /var/cache/apt/archives/ to see if you still have the old
version of nvidia-current.
should be current_280.13-0ubuntu4 (current_280.13-0ubuntu5 was the version
causing issues on my system)
if you do, then:
sudo apt-get remove nvidia-current
sudo dpkg -i
Thank you, what is the command ?
I tried sudo apt-get install nvidia-current_280.13-0ubuntu4.
(unable to find package)
