To add to the note above...DO NOT use any Focus Effects under Focus Animation
other than "None". They all caused Issue
as describe by DonKaron above.

Not sure if this is where i should post this..
Anyways, Ive installed and or upgraded ubuntu 12.04 on a few laptops and
desktops and there is no issue such as this one on any of those systems. None
of them has compiz. So I suspected that it might be that something in the
compiz is causing this
Have exact same issue as DonKaron...did not know about the overlap...i
can confirm after testing that it works find when windows dont overlap.
