hi,
Has anyone tried console redirection with Indiana?
The same options that we use in s10 / commercial solaris updates doesn't
seem to work. i,e -s -B console=ttya/ttyb etc.
Any clues?

Hi Moinak,
Since I had created the snapshot at the zpool level, I had expected it
to work with -r option when executing test at complete.
Executing a rollback @ /test/testfs/1 level worked.
So wondering what is the use of -r option as testfs and testfs/1 descend
from the test.
Best Regards,
Moinak,
That's where confusion sets in ..
In this case I have only one dataset which is complete and for all the
child FS of the zpool test.

Removing the older data for brevity...
bash-3.00# zfs list
NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT
test 205K 19.6G 26.5K /test
test at complete 0 - 26.5K -
test/testfs 94K 19.6G 25.5K /test/testfs
test/testfs at complete 21.5K
Hi Moinak,
Didn't work :-(
bash-3.00# zfs rollback -r test at complete
bash-3.00# ls -l /test/testfs/1/test
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jul 1 04:40 /test/testfs/1/test

Hi,
I am having difficulty understanding ZFS rollback option.
I'll illustrate it with an example:
1.) I have created 2 FS with the following structure:
bash-3.00# zfs list
NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT
test 137K 19.6G 26.5K /test
test/testfs

Ashwin,
For clearing the archive, I should be able to login which is not happening.
I edited the boot option to include -S but still goes thru the same loop!

hi,
I was trying Opensolaris 5.08 (snv_86 rc3). I installed the system and
after boot up, decided to unconfig the system. On reboot, I encountered
boot archive corruption and was trying to boot into failsafe mode but
notice that there is no failsafe option in the grub menu.
Unfortunately, th

I'd suggest you hence forth send the cluster express related requests to

Please mention the complete list of steps you performed and the error

Ramu,
Did you see the dhcp requests from the client reach the boot server?
What is the error message you got on the client?
Suggest reading the jumpstart section of solaris admin guide for
detailed trouble shooting steps!
