That police substation is closed, at least that is what the person at
the 18th district told me. They submitted a report for this act and
officers are supposed to keep an eye out.

Dear Kyle and Neighbors,
Sa-ád's business hours escape me, even though I enjoyed a Shwarma there four
years ago.
Are there regular business hours or still Brigadoon hours.

We eat there a lot, mostly for takeout. It is the Eastern Mediterranean
joint we prefer in University City.
Sa'ad seems to be open on every day, at every hour that we want takeout
food. I don't recall placing an order during Ramadan, so I can't say
what he does then. His kitchen lies within

Well then, if he wants (a) one day a week off and (b) one month of
vacation off, then Sa'ad has picked the Christian day off and the Muslim
month off. He's covered his two most important bases -- an American
strategy. And I hope he, along with all his employees, enjoys a day off
and a week off
Saad's been a lynch-pin of that corner for years. I recall when it used to be a
Wings to Go. Imho, he's done so much to clean up that corner and build
community with the neighbors and the neighboring businesses. The constant foot
traffic from the Mosque to the restaurant is very welcome, as
Love Saads. He's always a good host and the food is always delicious
and reasonably priced. My grandson rates Saad's french fries second
only to Abbraccio which he declares are the world's best. I've never
tried any of the steaks, but the burger and fries are generous portions
