Absolutely. /Caffè al latte /is the milky coffee beverage that Italians have favored for the last century. It is almost, but not quite, the same as the French /café au lait. /The Italian version involves mechanical steaming. /Café au lait /any mother can whip up in her kitchen; not so/ latte./
