I agree it is not a bug as such but it is a usability bug. Could apt-
file doapt-file update as part of it's install process? Or could
it give out a warning along the lines of No content files found, have
you ran apt-file update?
At the moment results for not having the content files is
should be fixed with 1.0.3-0ubuntu1 as it's a sync with the latest
debian version again and thus definitely compatible with debian

problems with bzflag on amd64
Since this is bug makes bzflag unusable, it should be fixed/backported
in/to dapper. To have the fix in Edgy is not a fix.
