If I have Ubuntu with Gnome only, no problem.
I installed systemsettings + kdebase-workspace-bin (for configuring
fonts in kde4 apps), but when I changed fonts, firefox-3.5 uses the kde4
fonts renderer (which doesn't use subpixel rendering) instead of the
gnome renderer.

I have looked through the hooks and I can see there is a typo in the
dmraid hook file.
Open up /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/dmraid, so:
sudo gedit /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/dmraid
look through that file, on line 23 it says force_load dm-raid45. This
should of course be dm-raid4-5.

geting this error message flashing continiously, I solved the problem by
going to preferences, audio and changing it from alsa to pulse.
Perhaps, given 9.04 is using pulse audio and that's the setting that
makes mplayer behave,

This actually is an issue in the nexuiz-data package, not nexuiz.
Furthermore, I just yesterday uploaded a version to Debian unstable
(2.4.2-2) which includes a patch to disable the version check. It is
pretty small (just some #if 0 and #endif in one file), so you might want
to use that patch for

I am having a similar issue with 9.04 AMD64 and Disk Usage Analyser.
When I do a 'Scan Filesystem' from Disk Usage Analyser it shows Total
filesystem capacity:... which are accurate and match df -h, but the
folder breakdown is vastly different from the above - Whilst the real
disk usage is over
Just to add that exactly the same occurs with the Brother DCP135C
(printing shifted up by exactly the same amount). This was working fine
up until about 2 weeks ago (can't be more specific I'm afraid).

The current parsing scripts for Dovecot don't filter out the routine
Logged out messages - as a result the Logwatch report gets full of
chaff messages.
The messages that need to be filtered out are all of the form

This happens on i855GM in Jaunty.
The highest resolution on the laptop monitor is 1024x768.
The external monitor is detected and I can choose 1280x1024, but when I do,

I'm sorry, I can't. I added the PPA to my sources.list but obviously I
have unresolved dependcies and I can't install the new Me TV version.

Quanta Plus does not start anymore
I just installed Xubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) with x.org 1.6 on my
Dell Latitude D420 laptop with Intel 945GM/GMS graphics. I experience
the exact same problems. I will get back to you later today with some
details!

Hi,
On jaunty, with the packages libboost-test1.34.1 and libboost-test-dev
installed, ax_boost_unit_test_framework.m4 will find the gcc41 version
of the library (a symbolic link to the gcc42). This causes linking to
fail as the gcc41
I will post the updated patch when I get homw from work.
