Yes, 2.2.0 does not have a problem with 320k streams or anything. None
that I had or have encountered yet.

Unfortunately, the 320k stream I used to listen to is offline. The latest
version of Audacious, 2.2.0, has none of the problems I had before. I grabbed
the version from getdeb.net. The following issues I used to have are fixed in
2.2.0:
- Title cut of when encountered single quote character ('):

There is a new version, 0.8.4.1. Maybe that one fixes this problem. See
http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/applications/xfce4-power-manager for
the release. But checking the changes, it might not do that.

I vouch for this change. It's really annoying to have to install half of Gnome
or KDE only to get the icon. I now have the Intrepid version installed and set
an apt-pin to prevent updates from installing.
Please change the dependency to recommended for compiz-gnome and compiz-kde so

I just found out one way to get the wobbly windows effect on Audacious.
If you use the move window key so you can click and drag a window, it
will wobble. By default, the window move key is set to Alt.

I reported the bug for Ubuntu Jaunty, 9.04. I would still have the same
problem if I didn't adjust the powerbtn script to include the check for
xfce4-power-manager. All versions of the power manager are a problem,
because the script runs before the daemon could catch it. I know for

Updated my other system. Same symptoms: not able to play a 320k stream,
but 192k does work. It might be that version 2.0.1 was able to play the
streams, but just not the 320k stream.
The problem with the single quote is also gone.
The only bug that remains, is the problem of playing 320k streams.
Ok, I tried it again with a different stream server, and now it does
play correctly. How odd. The only difference that I know of, is that I
now connected to a 192k stream, instead of the usual 320k.
Now all that I need to know, is if the problem I just noted with 1.5.x
is fixed in it. I so hope it

I think this is by design. Because you don't see the initial window
decorations, it works around it. This causes all window manager options
to be ignored, including wobbly windows. Same goes for snapping windows
to other windows. Open a terminal for example, and it won't snap to

Since the last ACPI update from a while back, the powerbtn.sh script
