MInd you, this is also a security issue.
I haven't looked into the code for a while but I remember that there

Wow, first time I'm witnessing that Ubuntu's policy of self-inflicting

With the old 2.4 intel driver [1] I get both suspend and video working
again.
I also tried the PPA 2.7.1-0ubuntu1~xup~1 [2] package with Option
AccelMethod UXA as described in [3] . Video playback worked, suspend
worked too, however resume would come back with a black screen.
Switching between
:38:22 +) made it onto this page.
And I got no error message from launchpad either.
Thus I'm trying once again, directly to launchpad:
