this is very similar to Bug #203158 which describes the problems SDL has
with it's ALSA output when Pulse is running.

I had the same problem but I could fix it by killing the process
/usr/bin/python /usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-butterfly and restarting
empathy.
Uh ... ? Same for me. Killing these processes solves the problem !

Hi,
I've using wifi-radar perfectly in the same box with ubuntu 9.04 but when I've
upgraded the system to ubuntu 9.10 this problem started to happen.
Can be caused by a conflict in the upgrade?

Had the same problem in one install and no problem in another install,
dont know why yet, maybe i didn't had some package installed before
maybe build-essential.
Fix:
Inside of qtcreator
Open your project
go to Projects (fourth tab on the left)
click on Run Settings
