Btw, for the moment I use tuxguitar 1.1(the ubunutu package from their
homepage) and I use gervill which is the default sound in tuxguitar now,
no timidity+sound font. It sounds not bad, the latency is ok and there
aren't problems with pulseaudio. Maybe you can give it a try.

As you can see here, http://forum.emesene.org/ , emesene is now called
emesene-crazy and supports webcam conversations! (the newest version in
ubuntu jaunty is 1.0.1, it doesn't support webcams) Would it be possible
to upgrade emesene to the new version, at least in jaunty?
I guess emesene is a great alternativ to aMSN because it looks way
better in gnome, the ubuntu standard desktop and it is much easier and
to use, its interface is cleaner.

On Intrepid Ibex I have the same problem, timidity does not connect to
pulseaudio. When other music applications work(and they work perfectly with
