I've been a long time Slimserver 6.x user. I recently upgraded to
Squeezecenter 7.2.0 and now 7.2.1. Both of the 7.2 versions have the
same problem.
I am running this on a Fedora Core 4 system (I know it's ancient but
Slimserver worked perfectly on this box so there's no reason

As has been stated before, you don't need to stop apparmor at all. The
mistake in the squeezecenter package is now fixed in 7.2.1. You can
also just remove the broken config file.
Code:
sudo rm /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld.squeezecenter.orig
sudo /etc/init.d/a

Maybe you could copy the cache file (default.m3lib) from your Linux
server to another system where you can open it in the MIP desktop GUI,
add your filters, and then copy it back. Not sure if the cache file
will translate from one OS to another, but you could try it with a
backup.

I checked the permissions and the file was hidden.
I then deleted the offending file with rm through the FreeNAS command
line, and then rmdir'd the DBI directory.
I have repeated this for all offending instances, all are now gone.
Thanks very much for your assistance.

I belive my problem may have a similar explanation. When I add music to
the folders which are scanned nightly, they are not index. However, the

I have a Linux server that does not have a windowing system installed.
Does anybody know of a way to create filters without using the Music IP

the filters from that system to the headless system?
As far as I know, filters cann
Hi guys
I've finally got my SqueezeCenter back up and running.
After afew weeks of downtime and the problems trying to get 7.2 to

I can only speak for Ubuntu but it gets better with each release, am
interested to see what happens with 8.10 soon.
The M4A problem for me was a minor irritant really, I don't have many
M4A files and at some point will re-rip my cd's into FLAC so not a long
term issue. The wireless issue is a big

Hi Folks,
I have now got the ntfs disk working on my new kubuntu box. This is
accessible from the box.
I am now having problems mounting the ntfs disk on my other kubuntu
box. I have created a new folder /media/severstore but the fstab entry
I have used doesn't seem to work.
