rpm is a kind of zipped installer archive I think it's temporarily
stored somewhere if you are using wget first you can probably find it
somewhere.
I just "rpm Uvh http:/ww." directly from the slim website.

Run whichever version you want, they aren't tied to the Debian
release. SqueezeCenter stable works fine on lenny, as does testing.

of SC? The release date for the stable version of SC as shown in

is January 22. This is before lenny went stable so isn't this
technically still the etch version? SC testing has a post l

Thanks for the advice Coopw02.
I loaded Pysdm (which mounted the drive) and after a rescan all was
working fine. I was not aware that I did not have to go via Firefox,
thanks for the tip.
I now have a PC that I can just turn on and start using my Duet without
problems.
