Yes, please try 7.3.3. If you still get the same problem, then please enable some logging (Settings / Advanced / Logging). Enable *player.source=info *and *network.protocol.slimproto=debug*. Upload a zipped copy of the logfile here along with a description of what happened when. -- awy

Hi all, I have just done an install of SqueezeCenter on Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix. It all seemed to work fine, but I can't find the software Is there supposed to be an icon somewhere, if so where? If not, how do I start it? Pardon my ignorance but I am new to Linux. Thanks, Mark --

SC should be running in the background, and is most likely configured to start whenever you (re)start the computer. Try opening a web browser on the computer running SC and point it to: http://127.0.0.1:9000/ and you should get the SC web interface. That's one easy way to know if SC is running.

If you haven't installed a Java Runtime yet, try either -sun-java6-jre- (currently at 6-13-1; -Attention!- This cannot be installed using Add and Remove Software #8212; it requires a manual apt-get install since you have to agree to their EULA.) or -maybe- (I didn't test this!) -openjdk-6-jre-
