I had the same as nietgiftig and SamS. After the latest update the
version number is correct, now it shows 1.17a at the web page.

The problem about the remote got fixed, it is as you said, firewall
about LAN connection.
But when I started to use remote app... the sampling rate of the Dac
don't change, fixed at 48 khz. But I can't see any setting in
squeezelite limits it.
Do u have any idea Why is that?

Did you try recently, there was a problem initially with a wrong version
number in 1.17a.
If you would try again, could you please copy/paste the content of the

Would be a nice addition, the space on the SD card does not have a
negative effect on piCorePlayer as far as I can see.
piCorePlayer runs in RAM as I read earlier in this thread.
