My original problem was that I didn't get any sound - sorry, can't
remember any more detail than that.
It's currently working, but hitting 100% CPU regularly, eg. if the

I just thought I'd update re the volume issues I had on the Pi with the
analogue output. I found a generic USB-DAC I had and plugged
it.bingo, volume is what it was with a SB3 :)
