I did some network tests loading iperf on both, server and player (in
this case a Raspi).
What emerged was that the bandwith was ok from the LMS host to the
player, but not the other way round: 45 Mbits vs 478Kbits.
I tested my laptop on the same cable, just in case, and it was ok, so it
must ha
Hi folks, I took a look and didn't see this issue anywhere, I'm hoping
there is a quick setting solution.
I am at a relative's house where I have a Raspberry B2 (ethernet)
running PiCore/Jivelite 2.0? It normally defaults to the LMS running on
DellMini (ethernet). Well since I was in the process

So you've ruled out everything except the implementations of LMS on the
BBB or the BBB itself I think.
*Players:* SliMP3,Squeezebox3 x3,Rec
well, no it wasn't the LAN...
I replaced the BBB with a Raspberry 3 with a Minibian Jessie image, and
everything works like a charm.

Hi
Firstly - PicorePlayer is fantastic and many thanks to the developers
for all your hard work I've been a long time user. Tried out v3 today -
clean install but I can't get AirPlay to work on 3.00 after enabling
Shairport - the Pi doesn't show up on my iPhone. Reverted back to 2.06
and it works

Just thought I would give this a trial as I have had no problems with
wireless and the pi3.
First attempt gave me a mac address but no IP
Changed the wifi channel from 12 to 6 and:

By the by, Co-op do a reasonable cheap Spanish Red which helped me a
lot:p

SSID is very simple, straight alpha characters.
I have rebooted the pi several times, and the router, to no avail.
It has been suggested that the pi has found the SSID ok but is
struggling to find the DNS sever.
Can anyone tell me what type of entry in my router settings might be
good to look at ?
ok, so I solved the problem right away... replaced the Beagle with a
Raspberry 3... and it works like a charm...
Will find another use for the Beagle, someday (with a different image).

I have been trying to load the Pcp applets on my Pcp 2.06 however it
says "No applets found"

the plugins page of LMS but still Pcp 2.06 finds no applets
Is the "http://picoreplayer.sourceforge.net/repo.xml"; still current ? o

I found the Pi3's wifi to be only adequate
Hi, a short question. If I want to make a new picoreplayer with wifi
preferably with 5ghz is it better to buy a 3 or 2 with a dongle. Is
there any disadvantage with any of the two. Thanks

Hi,
had similar problems. It was my complex wifi SID password. Please test
it with an easy one like 12345 if it works.

great work. I use it from the beginning and all new versions better than
previous one.
Short question from my side. Is it possible to implement a VPN client? I
will explain why. Sometimes, if I visit friends, I miss my music. I have
a special rasp that includes a VPN client and squeezelite. The V
