I've had to update LMS on PCP during some investigations on Picture
Gallery plug-in installing itself.
Just a couple of observations:
1. The default colours in PCP are really difficult to read for my
eyes - the dark blue text on black background is very difficult. Do the
colours come from PC

I was always wondering if having multiple piCorePlayers with the same
hostname would cause a problem on the network. In preparation for an
issue we generate a unique shortname in the following form.
pCP-2B-b87d33
This can be found by [Main Page] in [Beta] mode > [Diagnostics] >
[Raspberry Pi].

What makes sense from mySB point of view.
Anything goes :-). I thought that at some point we did not accept
duplicate names. But quite obviously that's not the case. Using pCP and
some kind of postfix seems reasonable to me. As the MAC address is part
of the registration anyway this seems lik

I am running LMS on a headless vortexbox at the moment just for music.
I want to try the Plex server out for video .
I have installed the plex server but I can't find a way to login to
configure it.
Ideally I'd like it to serve video from a network attached drive and not
from the vorextbox

There is a build of Squeezelite with a Squeezeslave GUI built in - I
have it running on a 2 line LCD on my Turtlebeach Audiotron.
I know it is not JiveLite but another way to get similar results.
It is based on an old Squeezelite though.

able to build LMS in a FreeNAS jail without problem. Took the short-cut
to use a single jail to both build and test run LMS. Tested the LMS
port in another jail, and it builds without error. I feel far more

My Raspi is now setup with pipaos, squeezelite and lirc. At my
hackathlon this weekend

Don't underestimate the Kali. It is functionally comparable to Ian's
