No part of the script uses anything from sourceforge. This script hits github, logitech servers and the repo.tinycore.net unless you have selected another tinycore mirror. I looked back, I did not see what error you are getting.

ah, it might be a problem with sorceforge then. I did have a hiccup doing a 7.9.1 to 7.9.1 update http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107579-LMS-v7-9-1-nightly-update-and-piCorePlayer but since then I have done an insitu update without a problem.
