I upgraded in-situ from 3.20 to 3.21 Audio.
Everything went through and the version is working fine, including
built-in WiFi of RPi 3.
Thanks, guys, awesome work!

tc@piCorePlayer:~$ nslookup picorplayer.sourceforge.net

This worked...it's proceeding through the update process now. I tried
the google dns earlier but didn't reboot. Out of curiosity,
We have seen some dns servers not resolve sourceforge properly, Use
google dns. 8.8.8.8
After changing your static settings, you should reboot.

I use OpenDNS settings in my router. I left the nameserver field blank
and it auto filled with the router IP. I just tried inserting my OpenDNS
in that field..208.67.222.222, with the same result.

Thanks, I know this distro and used it on dedicated HW in the past.
With ripping and file renaming/tagging capabiilities (and Samba etc) I
find it a bit fat here.
Anything against Ubuntu with current LMS?
Or does Damn Small Linux (DSL) work with LMS? File storage will be on an
external share anyw

I tried again the insitu update from (freshly installed) 3.20 to 3.21,
but with the same result: After confirming the reboot popup, PSP was not
reachable anymore (I waited for about 30 mins as I wasn't sure about how
long the reboot/install

I attempted to update from 3.20 Audio Kernel to 3.21 Audio kernel.
After what seemed a successful download I received an "Error untarring
boot tar" message.
I have an RPi 3 with a HifiBerry Digi+ Pro hat, running WiFi through a
TP Link dongle. 5.25V 2A wall wart. More than 14G free on micro SD

I now plan on setting up a separate LMS VM on our Hyper-V environment in
the office. This is triggered by the Spotify-plugin removal amongst
other things. Which base OS would yo

I didn't have much to do with this update the boys did a great job.
During testing, to me, the upgrade process just seemed even smoother
than previous updates.

Not sure whether this might have to do with my particular update
problem: I've update LMS (in PCP 3.20) a couple of days ago, following
this instructions:
http://picoreplayer.sourceforge.net/how_to_upgrade_lms.shtml
Anyway, everything up and running again, this evening I'll give it
another try.

Updated to two instances of 3.21 both without incident so far.
I have:
IQ Audio Amp+/Dac+ combo with 3.21 squeezelite and LMS on Pi 3
Topping VX2 Dac/Amp with 3.21 squeezelite only on pi3
Keep up the good work.
