3.22 cannot be directly upgraded, you will need to go to 3.5, then to 4.0, then to 4.1 Prior to 4.0.0 everything is hosted on sourceforge which is now static content. But if 3.22 is working, you can stick with it as long as you wish. You can read about the feature additions/changes in the news
