But what is the impact on the user? Imagine I was a user (I actually am a squeezelite user only, not a dev). I have no clue what you’re talking about. My music plays nicely. Therefore I don’t see what problem you’re trying to solve. Michael http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins - Spotty,

Hello! My normal computer is a Mac, so it would be great if I can use an external drive for the music on piCorePlayer that is using a HFS+ filesystem. Is this possible? If not will this be implemented in future? Or can I install it on my own? Thank you!

Worked for years? Did you read my findings, especially the one related slimproto/LMS? If that's the way it's been working for years, it's never been working properly. To quote myself: LMS seems to have a problem. LMS delivers ambiguous and even wrong order data while going down the 100->0

I do think it's a serious flaw if one of the most basic features - volume control - is not working properly. What's the problem you're trying to solve? Not numbers or theory, but user experience? With millions of listening hours using the existing code and not a single complaint so far I

I understand. I do think it's a serious flaw if one of the most basic features - volume control - is not working properly. The volume curves are all but reasonable and linear VC is not working at all. Of course if you're happy with somehow going up and down on volume, fair enough. That'll do.

I am sorry if this question has an answer somewhere in the forum, but I did not find it... Well, I use to use an LMS Server on a little ARM Card (Orange Pi One) and player is using PicorePlayer on a Raspb v3+. This week I received a nice little DAC from China. I wanted to test "Daphile" on an

Hi there. Lineare HW VC update. It's running. I rewrote the linear HW VC in output_alsa.c. And it's IMO not just a dirty hack. Works great. Linear all over the place! 1click=1dB!! * It works for all DACs (PCM51xx or Sabre) * No more triple logarithm curves * No calculations or ambiguous
