Do you have a wiring diagram for the whole thing?.but it sounds like
you need to do some rewiring.

Thanks. That
I just shutdown from the PCP web page, count the green flashes (I think
it's 10). This leaves only the red light on.
The browser page goes to whiteout and I then pull the power plug.
The new rpi4b has a really tiny green led, that's hard to see.

Yep, off on a pi isn't off until unplugged.
It's so you can use a button and a simple script to power off and on.
I hadn't turned off my rPi 3B+ for so long I've forgotten the behavior.
I *thought* that when I went into the piCorePlayer web GUI and selected
"Shutdown piCorePlayer" it would actually turn off power to my rPi
itself. But in doing that today, I do (1) lose web access to
piCoreplayer and LMS
Had another look at the Pirate Audio device today - made no more
progress regarding getting all 4 buttons working with Jivelite, whether
using a 'gpio-key' overlay or one of various background processes. Three
keys work fine, but the one assigned to GPIO 20 simply doesn't work.
The device uses

Is it any way to navigate the Jivelite with tab or arrow keys alone?
I have my piCorePlayer connected to my TV and it all works very well
except the fact that I would like to navigate the UI like I do with
Apple TV and similar,
i.e. to use the arrow keys to move between elements on the screen,
i moved the lms-directory to usb stick - then it works.
the wlan-usb worked also - but i discpnnected it now, because i
connected the pi via lan in our living room. it has a fixed place there
and needs no wifi

That seems pretty normal to me, "patience young Grasshopper" :)
Did you resolve the problem with your USB stick?
Thanks!!! Autoplay works now for me. Great!!!
Do you also have a hint for me how to speed up boot up time ... it takes
about 50 seconds

With Radio Paradise playing from the "Test" button I just applied the
"Hotfix" to v5.0.0.
Selected "Save" then Shutdown the pi from the "Main" page.
Re-applied power and Radio Paradise is playing.

@FABIUS
Well I think Autostart is a little broken (I seem to remember this
happening before)
I have been playing this morning and I cannot make it properly work.
Here is a long detail of what I have tried, I hope the pCp team will
pick up on it.
I have Hifiberry DAC/ADC pro running on RPi3+ with PCP Beta 6 B7. Output
Device setting is Hifiberry DAC/ADC.
1x Picoreplayer with Hifiberry DAC/ADC, 3x Picoreplayer with Jivelite 7"
Display und IQaudio DigiAmp+, 4x Picoreplayer wiith 7"Display and
Audiophonics Sabre DAC, 2 Picoreplayer 6 b
I think it would be best, to first get this installation working
correctly, then sort out your backup procedure.:)
Why not start by making a fresh install of pCP on the card you have, and
going slowly through each stage of the install and configuration
procedure. For this, keep the pi connected
LMS wont start any more - i think beacause of a disk i/o error.
picoreplayer is on an 8gb micro sd card and the music ist stored on a 64
GB usb stick. Iam not shure where the i/o error occurs - on the micro sd
or the stick. is it posible to tell picoreplayer to delete the database
and create a
