Hi - I've just set up BT on a Pi Zero W via wifi, pCP 6, and have
successfully paired a BT adapter connected to headphones. The player
name shows up on the LMS web interface, and LMS is streaming some music
to the player but
well "pcp rb" rebooted the system, so of course your connection will
drop.
you will have to post the contents of your ssh session so I can see what
you did.
Just run "rpi-eeprom-update" without the -a or any option, and it will
show what is current.

I wanted to use WinSCP to create a directory and transfer files to pCP
into the /home/tc/.jivelite directory (well, actually a directory deeper
down) but I can't because of permissions. I connect using the 'tc' user
account and its password. The .jivelite directory has root as its owner.

In case anyone wants to try LMS or Squeezelite on Alpine Linux, here are
some directions for adding my repo and installing the packages. Right
now, only x86_64 has both LMS and Squeezelite. Armel only has
Squeezelite and it's an older version. I'm leaving the armel repo
online but I'm not

Well, I could no longer access the Pi with the IP address anymore. So, I
cut the power and unplugged the SD Card and powered up.

The step didnt failed. This command is: piCorePlayer reboot, so the Pi
will be rebootet and is normal that you are loosing the connection. :-)
Hi Jesper
It's a really nice 'hack' to implement room-correction this way. Thanks
for the inspiration.

That's great, thanks!
*Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json
2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools
4. REQ/RESP messages sent
For now, I'll only worry about the Bluetooth models.

If you look at the firmware field in the player info, you should already

I'm sure there is a way, but since pairing is password less, I'm not
going to do that. Why does your phone not remember what it is paired
with. My phones stored paired devices, and I just press connect.

I'm still low in the learning curve. But last time I tried to use LMS
inside Docker (I believe incl. your image), it didn't work for me. But
that's probably been a year ago.
I'd have quite a few questions wrt. to your image I'd be happy to

Glitches can happen in the update..it seems that most pCP users are
already on LMS 8.0.0. I'll try to update the extension in our repo to
be more current.

Interesting. The update notification failed to show up. So, the only
solution was to do the manual ssh update.
Looks like all back to normal now.

But we have these recipes already.
For someone who has a burning desire to make docker images
My installation of LMS via piCorePlayer on a rPi4B is running LMS 7.9.2.
I'd like to update to 7.9.3 (and not 8.0). I know there is an option
in piCorePlayer for "Nightly Update". I can't tell from the option
whether clicking this will then give me the option to select 7.9.3, vs
8.0, vs ???.

I experienced the same with the deb update on a Joggler.
