That is the streamer function in pCP 6 - so you appear to be going
down the right path.
Probably best to take a look at the first post in the forum thread that
is dedicated to pCP 6 and Bluetooth and post follow-up questions in that
one.

Hi again,
would it be possible, through a clever combination of the PCP 6,
bluetooth and the appropriate plugin to stream any sound from a
bluetooth device (smartphone) to the Squeezebox players?
I have managed to configure PCP as a streamer and the stream runs in a
web browser.
So far so good.
On the SB Controllers in the Advanced menu under networking there is a
"Choose Network" routine. Is that something that could be added to
pCP/Jivelite?

Hi MW_FFM2020,
/etc/asound.conf has rw permission for group staff, so tc will have
permissions to edit the file.
Code:
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ la /etc/asound.conf

I reformatted the fat32 256G drive to exfat. It works. Need not extend
usb wait time. I tried that to 10s and without reformatting to exfat it
does not work. Just reformatting to exfat works with just the default 2s
in usb wait time. 👍

Hi Paul,
With piCorePlayer you can set the screen brightness.I've set it to about
50% which is fine and the under-voltage warning never comes on after the
boot.

Thanks Paul. The display does pull power from the 40 pin header. I use a
Y cable in the house on a touch display I have, so I may go that way. It
may be a space issue.
I did a little checking and it may be that the adapter is the issue. I
need to look at that some more.
Once it boots, it's all

Does it matter much that it reports under voltage during booting?
My guess is that it OK and you could put a script in place to reduce
brightness after the boot.

Hi,
I am a new user to the Picoreplayer, having previously used volumio with
LMS as a plugin.
For the Picoreplayer, I am able to get music streaming and airplay to
work. But Picoreplayer is not able to see my usb stick (FAT32, 256G,
works well with volumio via LMS plugin). I tried to follow al
First you must disable IR remote control in the web tweaks tab and
reboot before proceeding.
Next, install pcp-lircd from the extensions webgui. Reboot if needed.
Next, ensure squeezelite is stopped.
Code:
sudo /usr/local/etc/init.d/squeezelite stop

Looking at the driver, its hardcoded at 255, there are no provisions to
decrease it until after booted.
How are you wiring the display. You should not get the power from the
RPI 40pin header, it's best to put a "Y" cable on your incoming power,

So I installed a pi3B with a 7" screen in my car. It's a lease so I'm

is there another option to save settings for jivelite?
Or have I to change my startup-command?

You need to save your settings so they survive a reboot.
You do this from the picoreplayer menu from within jivelite, something
like "save to sd-card," if remember correctly

Hi friends,
with help of this thread I got my 7" Touchscreen working.
1. Calibrated the touchscreen.
2. disabled autostart of jivelite
3. added user-command
Code:
sudo SDL_VIDEODRIVER=fbcon SDL_FBDEV=/dev/fb0
TSLIB_TSDEVICE=/dev/input/event1 SDL_MOUSEDRV=TSLIB /opt/jiv
Confirm that the pointercal file is listed in /opt/.filetool.lst
usr/local/etc/pointercal
If not, add it, run the calibration again then backup the pcp config.

Hi Paul,
Many thanks for your comments. I had a look for the dongle you
