What about converting the documentation from fixed web pages to a wiki?
That could allow the admins to spread the maintenance over lots more
people, relieve the coders of a bit of work, and likely keep things more
up to date than can sometimes be the case.

I have put my LMS cache on the SD card so that I can back up the whole

No one likes doing documentation.
As piCorePlayer is not a commercial product there is really no incentive
to do the hard slog and keep the documentation current. I think
technical people, given the choice would rather code than document. I
certainly would.

Dear Squeezebox community,
I have a few question about the possibility to customize RF remote
control keys in piCorePlayer. But let me start with describing my pCP
setup.
I built a Squeezebox player using a Raspberry Pi ZeroW board in
combination with piCorePlayer. I can control pCP with a smar
hi Matthias,
Maybe, if you only want to set piCorePlayer to mono??, there is a "beta"
tool to play around with asound.conf.

I haven't played with it for a long time, but it should give you some
ideas.

That tutorial is a bit misleading, as it is based on upgrading form a
previous version to Ubuntu 20.04.
On a fresh install you do not have to edit any init'd scripts, you just
need to 'sudo systemctl enable logitechmediaserver'
You can install any version after downloading the appropriate .deb

Yes, you will need two squeezelite instances running. Which you will
have to manually manage, as pCP only handles one instance internally.
In the hifiberry example the second squeezelite instance would use
"card2" as the output.

Thanks, just resizedeasy (and for others, note you can see before
(and after) you resize what size you chose, in case you can't recall
from the original setup.)

What you changed was a file on a Ramdisk. That change will not survive
a reboot without performing a backup.
Run backup from the main menu on the web interface, or run `pcp bu`
from commandline.

Is it possible to expand the card larger than 300MB using the

So I managed to get it to work with my old Squeezebox remote, through

You could try booting with Raspbian/Raspberry Pi OS following the

Sorry, my fault. I should have tested the script before posting it. I

I have added the missing "fi" into the script and fixed a typo of a

The main reason I do not go for full capacity is (was) to make it easier
to copy partitions between SD cards to make backups.
I had found in the past that 2 different 4GB cards had a different

And your LMS cache folder (slimserver) is on your SD card?
