All the coding is in pcp-rpi-functions.
Usually when RPF release a new product they update their documentation,
then I (or Paul) update pcp-rpi-functions. In the past I used Gordon's
wiringPi because he was always quick to update.
BTW: I am in the process of rewriting pcp-rpi-functions

Thanks for your reply, Ralphy! That was actually my typo, sort of. I
believe my issue is a PATH or Permissions issue. I did try
"./squeezeplay.sh" from terminal and I get an error on line 58 that says
something to the effect of jive: No such file or directory.
I played around with adding the d

Hi Paul, team - thank you very much for continuous upgrade.
I just tested 7.0.0b on following two players and confirmed working
fine.

That appears to be revision 1.4
I see that Adafruit have recently added it to their list - see near end

Yes, pCP reads "revision" from /proc/cpuinfo
They changed revision codes when they went from RPi1 to RPi2.
With the release of the 16 (or is it 32) different CM4's, I imagine
maintaining this list in their documentation has become to much of a
burden.

Is Pcp doing some kind of lookup then?
It is identified in the dmesg boot sequence:
Code:

b03114 doesn't exist according to the Raspberry Pi documentation:

;)
They seem to have stopped updating this list.

I've recently set up piCorePlayer on a Pi 4B 2GB memory. All is working
but I get the following from pcp_diag_rpi.log:

PCB Revision: ?

OK, @ralphy still no good, so did fresh install of version 6.1.0,
configured the IR as default:
I have not updated the system yet.
I am using the Basic Player, not the server or Beta and I do not have
LMS active on this player.
Then ssh into the system
Code:
grep ir

Before you dig it out, confirm that config.txt has the correct pin for
your setup.
Code:
tc@rpi3p:~$ *m1*
tc@rpi3p:~$ *c1*
tc@rpi3p:/mnt/sda
Did you forget the ./ or was that just a typo? From
/opt/squeezeplay/bin, try./squeezeplay.sh &

Trust your ears. If you can't hear the difference, then it's probably
not worth the hassle ;-)

Is this sound correction all done automatically?
I followed the instructions for having ir running on pCP 6.1.0 here:
https://github.com/Lykkedk/Camilladsp-SampleRate-Control
But how to understand if something is really changed in the sound?
Hi Ashley
The recovery only updates the bootloader eeprom on the rpi4, nothing
else :)

So that means that the Recovery process automatically updates your Pi4
to the latest version of everything? That is much easier :)
I'm still not sure what is meant in regard

There is an easier way to do that. If you use the "Raspberry Pi Imager",
you can choose "Misc utility images" and then "Raspberry Pi 4 EEPROM
boot recovery" and flash that to a SD c

Is it really necessary to switch it off? Will the Pi use less power
then?

Many thanks for continuing work on this fantastic project.
I've installed the 64-bit version on a Pi3B. This went smoothly.
Whenever I try to disable HDMI power on the Tweaks page, I get the

Morning All
I have a quick question about updating the firmware/bootloader software
on my Pi4. I see that pCP V7 includes the Nov Firmware, does that mean
that it will upgrade my Pi4 to that version? Under the pCP v6 thread the
first posting gives details on how to update the bootloader but I get
