Ahh is this one for the hifi unit not the same size screen, 4.3" as your
in-wall unit? I'd assumed so but maybe not..
Agreed dealing with the bulky connectors on the HDMI version could be an
issue with my in-wall versio
so scenario #1 you're starting with the streamer in power off state
that's is something I don't think I tested - logically shouldn't change
anything but obviously not the case
the partial clear I thought I'd caught all edge cases during testing -
will review the "refresh" flagging and see what

Cheers.
The screen is vertical, I could have angled it but its on a shelf and
the viewing angle of the display is perfectly fine.
Yes if I could get a DSI screen in the size I wanted for the application
then I don't think I would go the HDMI route again. I have done a few
projects with PI's no
You do nice work Gary.. very impressive! Is the screen mounted
vertically or set back at a bit of an angle? Hard to tell..
So would you just use the DSI version in this hifi one as well if you
were to do it over?
I can't quite tell but it looks like only 2 wires for the audio output?

There's a new pcp-squeezelite extension v1.9.8-1323-pCP available for
both pcp7 32 and 64 bit.
NB: If you've added alac to the excluded codecs in the squeezelite
settings tab, don't forget to remove that exception.

and I 3D printed a front panel to take the screen. The touch screen
