player. I may try burning a separate card and installing LMS on it
(with help from your notes) as a learning exercise.

I use a Raspberry pi 3 with LMS and Squeezelite and 2 Raspberry Pi with
piCorePlayer. This setup is running since several years stable. All
PIs are connected via LAN. Most of the time I hear Webradio. But the
Problem also appear with MP3 Files.

The squeezelite extension has been updated to v1.9.9.1364 to support the
new Balance control.
The new feature requires LMS 8.2.0-1614413430 from February 27th 2021 or
newer then in the middle of the LMS Player Audio Settings adjust the
Balance slider and click Apply.

which, when built on picoreplayer, surprised me with a segfault. I went
looking for gdb, and ... was surprised again. :-) Is gdb hidden in
some unexpected extension?
