i've tried with graphic-5.10 77-pcpCore-v8.tcz
andhave managed to get firefox to launch at startup in kiosk mode with
lms material skin.
some tweaking needed to get the screen right but will play further and
report back

I've just built a new PcP 8.1 install for use on a Pi4 with an external
HDMI 1920x1080 screen
it gets as far as the PcP logo that pops up as jivelite launches but
Jivelite never appears.
I've also tried the same hardware with PcP 7 and it works fine
is there a step i'm missing or is thi
whilst i don't disagree, i think PcP is so lightweight that it should
cope happily. My current solution is 2 separate Pis, one for playback
and one for running material. Confusing the wife with multiple
interfaces for the same product never ends well :(

I'm aware its not exactly PnP as a browser extension would need to be
installed and I beleive xsessions, but I also don't think its
impossible.
So has anyone figured out how to get Material in a browser onto a
picoreplayer install? It makes Jivelite look very dated, so would be
nice to do

looks like the issue with overscan is that Jivelite won't take any
notice of overscan settings if using HDMI as the output. Oddly if I use
native composite overscan works
your right in that the Joggler skin fits better, having tried your
800x640 Grid Skin thats working well.

Jivelite and the HD Grid Skin enabled,
I keep getting a display pulse every 10 seconds, the music plays
