Well - whaddya know! I must have two duff cards - as the working card from my other Pi now works in the others. I'd reformatted the other ones, and burnt several images on them - and could browse the file structure when in the USB adaptor on the PC - so never thought the Pi wouldn't boot from th

I've used two different cards - one straight from it's packaging. I suppose they could both be faulty. My next move is to take the card from my working Pi, then . . . -+-+-+- 'Last.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/morris_minor_1) ---

Thanks for the links and suggestions. My router's from TalkTalk, and DHCP is working fine - other devices get assigned IP addresses. With a monitor connected to the Pi (and piCorePlayer on the card), all I get after applying the power is a big, coloured square - no text of any sort. -+-+-+- '

It maybe worth saying, also, that I use SDFormatterV4 and have tried two different microSD cards - one brand new. -+-+-+- 'Last.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/morris_minor_1) morris_minor's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices

Help please! I've three RPi boards all of which fail to connect to my network via the ethernet port. One had worked fine and I'd got it going on wifi too. But when the wifi connection had problems, getting back into it wired was a no-no. A new Pi had the same problem - no activity at all on th

I need to move one of my piCorePlayers to a location without ethernet access and so purchased a TP-Link TL-WN822N - which was shown as working adaptor with pCP v1.18b. However I haven't yet found a way to get it on the network wirelessly. With pCP on ethernet I've accessed the WiFi setup page, f

I've just installed LMS (v7.8.0) on a Windows 10 machine and have a problem with my piCorePlayers (which worked fine on my old WHS box before it died). Basically, playlists need manual advancing from the web GUI or iPeng and the pause/play control is very unresponsive. The elapsed track time can
