I've decided to update the firmware to v7.0.0.
However, I'll leave this post here.

Hello,
I installed PCP v6.0.0 last year on a RPI 4, and since then I've had
very few problems with it. Initially there were some instabilities,
which were solved with inpuit from this forum to create a cronjob to
reboot the player once per week. Since this morning after the latest
weekly reboot,

Hello All,
I've been using the piCP v 6.0.0 for nearly a year, and am very happy
with it. More important: my technophobe wife also likes it :)
It's installed on a RPi4 with a HiFiBerry DAC+. The LMS is also running
locally on the RPi, and this is used by my other two SB3s.
The only problem I h
connect on both ports 9000 and
9002.
Thanks again for the responses.

Hello kidstypike,
It seems that the webpage layout has changed between pCP v5.0 and v6.0.

for the LMS port.
In v6.0, it has to be specified together with the LMS server address,
separated by a colon.

No, I mean:
How to change it from 9000 to 9002 on the pCP, not to change it from
9002 to 9000 on the LMS server.
I modified my original post as follows:
Edit:
I discovered the setting under the Squeezelite Settings page
However, when I set it to 192.168.xxx.xxx:9002, it isn't accepted:

Hello,
I've installed pCP 6.0.0.
I'm running LMS on a Synology NAS, using port 9002. pCP defaults to
remote port 9000.
How can I change it to 9002?
I've checked the config.txt file, but there is nothing there.
How can I change the LMS port to 9002

Thanks Prabbit.
The type had previously been set to Speaker. I set this to Player and
selected Save.
I then reconnected from my Android device and retried playing a Youtube
video. St

Thanks Viragored. I missed that.
Bluetooth now running. Pairing also seems to work. I also enabled the

Hello,
Sorry to hijack this thread, but it best matches what I want to do. I've
just installed pCP V6.0 and patched to 009, but that aside I'm a pCP
newbie.
I have questions about enabling and using Bluetooth.
I've enabled Bluetooth and disabled WiFi on the WiFi settings page, and
rebooted.

should only update the files it needs to change without affecting the
other files.

would I have to completely reinstall slimserver, alienBBC, etc?
Or, if a fresh install would remove slimserver, can I revert back to
10.1, without affecting slimserver?
Can anyone advise what to do?

Just a note here to say that I solved the problem.
I didn't do anything special, I just erased the old RPM and
reinstalled, and this time it worked!
Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

nfig files are OK, otherwise slimserver wouldn't start.
It seems to be a Perl problem problem?
