laptop streaming from the server.
To say I was blown away!! What an excellent system, the very second I
have some spare cash I'm off to get a squeezebox from my HiFi.

Sounds like a fair idea! I think we've got one of those USB hard drive
caddies at work - I'll have to look at borrowing it.
I'll have a go at it this evening, I gave in to the pleasures of wine,
food and excellent music last night.
stall process so that either the
console is redirected to ttyS0 (which to be honest is all I need, as I
would then be able to use apt-get!) or set up the SSH server.
My quest continues!!

Update - I have found update-rc.d!!! SO I now have mmserver starting at
boot. My question is now, how do I ensure MusicIP starts before SC?
Both are prefixed with S20

Ok, I'll try that. I thought I might be able to change the priority via
update-rc.d - but couldn't find an option.
In the MusicIP section of the wiki, it says use Boot upmanager to
change priority, but this is not possible in the text only world.
