Tried custom install again with 7.9 ticked and 7.8 unticked. This
worked
the boxes with
Squeezlite and Squeeze Server and tick Custom Kernel and then press
install/Remove. This part of the UI is a bit confusing. It maybe good to
have separate Remove and Install buttons.

Hi Triode/All,
My Wandboard quad connected via optical spdif does not seem to play FLAC
music files of 88.2 or 96.
Anything I can check for this

It works perfectly (all bit rates) on a USB to SPDIF converter based on
a XMOS chip. I dont have the custom kernal. It failed install.
