Hi. As explained 'here'
I'm trying to reinstall SoA on my Wandboard. I followed your
suggestion:

All sorted I have managed to shrink my image. The method I have
mentioned above works very well. Problem was with another defective
(more likely not genuine) sd card that got corrupted!
Anyways happy days here, SoA is rocking out again:cool:

Hi guys,
That's me again.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me out.
My 16GB SD Card with SoA on it got corrupted. Unfortunately all the 16
GB SD Cards I have got are slightly smaller than my back-ups and as such
I cannot dd any of them! I know for sure that the back-ups are working
Hi guys,
I just wanted to share something with you. After a very long time today
I have attempted to update the arch packages on my Wandboard quad. I
wasn't able to perform the update due to a compatibility issue with the
file /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt.
I have found the solution here:

Hi guys.
In the end, I gave Max2Play a try and it's much more at my level of
expertise. That means that I have a Wandboard Quad just sitting on my
bench and I would really like to see it go to someone who could use it.
If you are in the US or Canada and would like to have a cheap Wandboard

Thanks HB64. That worked. I have a lot to learn.
Next, I will dig into setting up for usb and solving a wireless issue.
Thanks again.

I always work as root when i do such things you should use sudo in front
like this "sudo squeezelite -l" or switch to root with "su".
If you did not chance the password for root i'll advice you to chance it
my wandboard was hacked in the past, use following to chance the

First of all, I am feeling a bit guilty here. I started out asking
about Squeeze on arch, but it was suggested that I try squeeze on
debian, since I'm a newbie to linux and SOA isn't heavily supported
anymore. It's not really fair to kesey and his original topic. Does it
make more sense to move
Thanks so much to all of you guys. I was quite far down the road with
atrocity's suggested path but was starting to run into linux stuff over
my head. HB64's guide looks so complete, I think I will start again
with my spare SD card and follow it to the letter.
HB64,
I am so impressed that you
I' ve forgotten the step that after is LMS installed you have to point
your browser to the ip adres:port of the wandboard usuall it's in this
order 192.168.-.-: 9000, you have to lookup in your router wat the ip of
the wandboard is.
And if you have connected a harddrive fstab must be set up to mou

I'm assuming the hangup is probably Debian rather than Squeezelite.
CSOS ran under Arch.
It doesn't really matter to me, I was just fooling around with it
because a friend has a weird p

I have made a guide how to make a Squeezebox server/player from a
Wandboard
Thanks atrocity. I will give that a try. I have been looking closely
at the Pi/Max2Play. It looks like it is popular and well supported, so
it might be good for me.
Thanks again.

project aside before I got the thing working. Now I'm back and would
like to the Wand Quad working as a headless Squeezlite player. I
doesn't help

graciously contributed to the Squeezebox ecosystem over the years.
In the last couple of weeks, following an update using, firstly, the
