Any idea? I use the dev-perl/AnyEvent-5.2.5.1 and the

As far as I know it *should* work with Perl 5.12, but with so many
dependencies it's hard to track down what the problem might be.

This don't work for me with perl 5.12.3 (x64), too. But on my machine
don't have problems with Audio-Scan-0.85. Only Inet Radio and Plugins
aren't working.

The problem (internet radio only via sn, inaccessible plugins tab etc)
appears to be due to the version of perl-core/CGI.
I've tracked down the failure here to when 3.490 was upgraded to
v3.510.
Neither of the versions (3.510 and 3.520) in portage appear to work.

Two problems here:
1. We need Audio-Scan-0.84 exact this version :-/ I don't know why 0.85
don't want to work with sbs but emerge 0.84 is a soultion here and SBS
works and runs.
2. Cannot access to plugins page - apparently this is caused by some
upgrades of perl modules of perl itself (5.12.3) -
I was the original reporter - but I don't actually know
when my problem started. Probably it's as the others
say, since 7.5.1 ...

For me it has happened from now on equal on Squeezeboxserver 7.5.1-r1.
Currently, I'm from, that it has to do with Perl or a Perl module,
which was upgraded from Gentoo.

Thanks for that - I'll take a look into it; I wasn't aware there was a
problem with mysqueezebox.com since I don't use that.
I suspect it's not related to the original problem reported here,
though, since you say that this has happened for a while but the other
problem was only reported against 7.

on all versions 7.5.1-r1, 7.5.2 and 7.5.3 are not possible to connect
to mysqueezebox.com. ping to mysqueezebox.com etc. pp. are working
fine.

I am inclined to think that the problem is that in my linux boxes,
squeezebox server cannot connect to mysqueezebox.com.

logged for quite a few past versions and I've never managed to track it
down. I get the same message here and it's not affecting the operation
on my test virtual machine.

When you say you can't open the plugins tab is there any information in
the log as to what is going on? If you're able to at least see the
settings interface then Squeezebox Server (SBS) is using the IP address
you're expecting (presumably, depending on how you've got those two
interfaces wired up)
Sorry to reply to myself, but I got it working (copied the 85 ebuild
to 84 ...).
But this has NOT solved my problem.
When I go to server settings page I cannot open the plugins tab
and there is no internet radio on the home page except for "tune
in URL".
