This could explain the issues I've been having with the 7.00 public
beta. The library I was testing with only contains ALAC files, with any
attempt to play anything causing SqueezeLite to crash. As far as I'm
aware the tags reside at the beginning of the files.

That makes a degree of sense, which leads to the next question - how
would I find out where the metadata is hiding? Pretty much all of my
files are ripped with dbpoweramp and fettled in tag & rename. I've been
using both of these for years & years.

I have the FFmpeg libraries installed on all 3 players, 2 use hifiberry
dac's, one a usb dac. Absolutely nothing changed yesterday (as far as I
know) but for some reason it's taken to refusing to play several albums
in their en
