i am using Actualtech´s ODBC drivers. They are not free, but what i think they
are cheap. They cost 39,- USD.

There´s also a trial version available.
There are also free ODBC drivers for MSSQL for Mac from
Just an information about using ODBC connection strings in LC on Mac.
Since LC version 7 it is not possible anymore to use odbc connection strings
in LC on Mac OS.
On Windows this is not a problem.

just a guess.
Did you already try to set the NO_REUSE element in the tSettings array to
TRUE?
I am using that setting always, because the default one caused very often
problems here.

Ralph method is better, because it has to be done once and all created
standalone now will contain the correct info.plist right away.
If i remember correctly then 9.6.0 dp3 will already include that modification.

It seems MichaelS renamed the iOS app to Payload (see MichaelS´s post from 21th

So always the stack in to the local temp folder is used, but a copy is made to
the network drive everytime i save the stack.

error. I think it was tsnet/curl error 48.
As a workaround i used tsNetVerifySSLPeer false to disable verification.

I am not sure, if this will help with your task, but if i want to avoid that
the os replaces the line breaks with it´s default i am writing a binary file
instead of a text file. So in your case you would open the file for "binary
write".

Thanks Panos and LC Team,
one little question.
LC 9.0.5 Business is showing here the well known "This app is not optimised
for your Mac". If LC 9.05 is the last of the 9.0.x release cycle, will that
mean, that 9.0.5 will not run under Catalina?

I ran
sudo xcodebuild -license
in terminal and followed the instructions and agreed the license.
After that i was able to codesgin my test app in AppWrapper again.

I think there is a big difference between apps created with Livecode and apps
created using template based services or app creation tools.
There are many apps in the Google and iOS app stores which do not more than
just displaying webpages. Those app just provide a browser function in a nice
