No one answered your question. I have noticed there are differences in the
way you ping an address when on windows or when on mac or unix. Livencode
has a nice hostAddressToName("127.0.0.1") and
hostNameToAddress(*domainName, [callback]*)
Write something to ping it first before connecting too.
If I have a new stack with a list field and a datagrid both with rows of

select a row and then, using the arrow keys, move to a row above or below.
In the datagrid you can select a row but the arrow keys will not move that

Later I copied that stack and made a lot of changes in it including some

it. I even tried updating to LiveCode 4.6.2 and it still crashes when I
quit.
I can start LiveCode and do nothing or open and close stacks, doesn't
matter, but when I quit LiveCode everything goes down.
Can anyone help
Deleting the My LiveCode folder solves the problem.

I thought maybe the standard editor just wasn't letting me know about the
error since it only occurred when going to that one card. Thanks for the

I have a livecode app with many stacks. One of the stacks has a drawer
(MACOS) on the side. When you GO that stack it becomes active but remains
in the background with the other stacks on top of it. Can anybody offer some
suggestions on how to get this stack on it's drawer to be on top when you go

More experiments. It has nothing to do with the drawer stack. I have the
stack by itself and it won't toplevel

I tried toplevel stack stackname and that works for every stack except one

When I change the resizeable property to be false then it behaves properly.
It will then go toplevel. Weird
