Maybe they were slashdotted ;-)
Worked quite well here early this morning. I just tried it again here
and it works with all commands, quite fast.
Anyone have any success getting revBrowswer to display flash videos on
monitor 2 on a Mac system. On monitor 1 I can say:
put the rect of stack browser into tRect
revBrowserSet gBrowserId, rect, tRect
This works just fine.
When I have the browser on monitor 2, I can hear the video playing,
I have not had problems - are you using the global or relative rect?

It's bug 6516, and I've included an example stack. I'd be interested
if you see the same thing I do.

Hi,
I did not received any e-mail from my server about this question. That
could be due to the incident, then I dare to post it again.
Thanks a lot in advance for any help.
Meanwhile, I just noticed on the Archives site that Josh Mellicker
answered.
Sorry Josh, I did not received your post.

Hi all,
to ask for the player status there are the handlers playStarted, playStopped
and playPaused.
Is the also a generic handler with the status as a param to ask for the
status? (just to lean up my code a bit?)
Thanks

Hey all!
We have been VERY successful using Rev, Videograbber and a digital camera to
produce some excellent media in wmv format. Very pleased. We turn Quicktime off
(set dontuseqt to true) and all that. We have tested our newly digitized video
in Windows Media Player and it looks sweet! All

Hi Jack,
without knowing the reason, just a thought: perhaps (probably) Rev is using
another multimedia interface (like MCI API) as the WMP and/or another codec.
For me the only reason for this behaviour, but if so you can't do anything
about it.
BTW, when testing with WMVs I got excellent results
Hi Paul,
I concur.
In the transition from Rev 2.8.1 to 2.9.0 (Mac and Windows versions at
least), there has been a change in double-click-text and
triple-click-text behaviors.
The 2.8.1 behaviors are exactly the same as they are in the several

Bonjour Tiemo,
AFAIK no.
But for fun (and it will sure lean up your code :-):
In each player, put:
local lPlayerStatus
on playStarted
put char 5 to -1 of the params into lPlayerStatus
end playStarted

Question
Does the socketTimeoutInterval effect the Get or Put commands when
reading/writing to an ftp/http url? If not, is there a way to adjust the
timeout length of these commands?
Thanks.

Actually, it may be that you're missing something with mailto:;... I have
discovered that different email apps require slightly different data in a

How do you pass the mouse events from the image covering the button to

Right. You won't be able to pass the events directly that way because the

Andre, do you have to use an external email client? If not, you can

Richard,
It is probably very difficult for the Rev team to make a fundamental
change today without creating some problems for somebody. I didn't
realize the new behavior was specifically requested.

Hello All!
I would like to save some user (student) input out of one rev project and have

of the project could be on a school network (LAN/WAN) or at home on the

Hi John,
I'm assuming only the teacher app would be downloading stuff created by
student apps.
Good news: You only need FTP for uploading files to a server that isn't
on your LAN.
To download data (whether stacks or some other files), you can use put
url no matter where the files are.
