I used to have this problem on Debian Lenny on versions before 3.0. Revolution, and only Rev, would simply fail to see most of the installed fonts. Most means it would see 10 or 15 out of a couple of hundred. There was also a problem that even in the ten or so fonts it could see, it would not use
