Basic SQL database question

I saw the response about using raw SQL, and I wasn't sure exactly what that meant. Would it be essentially the same as the PHP code in a web-based file? I found a lot of information on SQL queries, but I can't find much on creating new records. Is there more information or an example

Is anyone using the record sound function? I saw some activity on the listserve a while back pertaining to this but I don't seem to have the right parameters or something. Does anyone have a sample stack or script? Also, I'm still trying to find a way to set the input to the iSight

Pencil to Browse tool switch

This should be basic, but it doesn't want to cooperate. I have a button which chooses the pencil tool so the user can draw in an image rectangle. There is also a button to choose the eraser tool that works fine if the browser tool is active, but it will not respond if clicked when the pencil

QT movie address in player
