Hello
/functions/ThreadAwareSecurityManager.java#L83
Of course this crashes if another slf4j binding is used (by accident like me,
or as a conscious choice) so I was wondering if this code should check the type
of the logger before cast and adopt some fallback behavior if slf4j is not
bound to logback?
Thanks and regards

sandra intended to be used for mostly numerical data?
I did not catch the point up to now, sorry.

Ok, new sequence:
….
- rm -rf /db/cassandra/cr/data0*/system/*
- /etc/init.d/cassandra start
- cqlsh -f schema(here is the schema for cr_production keyspace only)
- /etc/init.d/cassandra restart
I see the new keyspace, but it’s empty:
cqlsh> describe keyspaces;

This removes the schema. You can't load SSTables for column families which
don't exist.

Hello all.
I need to transfer and start the copy of production cluster in a test
environment. My steps:
- nodetool snapshot -t `hostname`-#{cluster_name}-#{timestamp} -p #{jmx_port}
- nodetool ring -p #{jmx_port} | grep `/sbin/ifconfig eth0 | grep 'inet addr' |
awk -F: '{print $2}' | awk '{prin

what are you using cassandra for?
Actually I still did not get the point of how I could use cassandra :-(

Can you confirm or disprove?

Subject: Re: Cassandra token range support for Hadoop (ColumnFamilyInputFormat)
Hello Anton,
What version of Cassandra are you using? If between
mited by token range with
ColumnFamilyInputFormat?
2. Is there other way to limit the amount of data read from Cassandra with
Spark and ColumnFamilyInputFormat,
so that this amount is predictable (like 5% of entire dataset)?

I believe this is not a Cassandra bug. But I am not sure where to ask
help with the problem.
Could you please advise what should I check to find out where is the problem?
Thanks.
Anton.
Hello Edward,
have you a working kudera+spring example with JPA annotations?
