Betreff: RE: Mapreduce Job fails if one Node i
I got a small cluster for testing and learning hadoop:
Node1 - Namenode + ResourceManager + JobhistoryServer
Node2 - SecondaryNamenode
Node3 - Datanode + NodeManager
Node4 - Datanode + NodeManager
Node5 - Datanode + NodeManager
My dfs.replication is set to 2.
When I kill the Datanode and
going to clean and sort my problems for the first now. After doing this, I
believe that I’ll be able to ask specifically for help on a single problem.

My cluster looks like:
Node1 - NameNode + ResourceManager
Node2 - SecondaryNameNode
Node3 - DataNode (+NodeManager)
Node4 - DataNode (+NodeManager)
Node5 - DataNode (+NodeManager)
http://node1:8088/cluster works.
My problems:

Node1 - NameNode + ResourceManager
Node2 - SecondaryNameNode
Node3 - DataNode (+NodeManager)
Node4 - DataNode (+NodeManager)
Node5 - DataNode (+NodeManager)
Doing java's jps command on all machines looks good.

Maybe I asked to early. For now, I'll try to setup multiple machines, each
machine got their specific job and asking/researched my question as soon as
they come up.
Best Regards,
Mike.

Hey everyone. I just started some weeks ago to learn about Hadoop. I got the
task to understand the Hadoop Ecosystem, and be able to answer some questions.
First of all I started reading a book "OReilly - Hadoop The Definitive Guide".
After reading the book I had a first idea of how components
