Hello,
Here's a requirements map for implementing pay slips. Am I mistaken ? I

Hi Cloé,
What you're talking about is in essence a payroll solution. Yes, this can
be built on top of OFBiz. There are enough pieces of functionality in the
feature set to get you started.
But you have to keep in mind that payrolling is one of the most sensitive
business domains in any
Thank you Ron, much appreciated.
Could you please review the following version that should include all your
recommendations and also some details discussed in this thread?
In my opinion we should remove all the content after this (and just leave the

Hello community
I've got some questions about the OFBiz hot-deploy functionality. I had
a look at the Apache OFBiz Cookbook and also searched the Web for
information about it. Now I got something from 2008 and 2013 with
completly different content. So I guess here is the best place to ask

The hot-deploy folder is not an accurate description of what it
contains, so your confusion is understandable.
It is true you can drop your custom components in the hot-deploy folder
and OFBiz will recognize them and include them the next time it starts.

Hot-deploy in Ofbiz is not the conventional hot-deploy that you might be
familiar with, i.e. deployment that does not require server restart. You
are still required to restart Ofbiz before any apps are mounted.Have a look
at the ComponentContainer class - you can call reload containers - but you
That sounds like a definitive version, I just wonder why we have to keep software

Also, do we really need to keep the , and so on?

Hi All,

to much of the original ofbiz code if possible.
The case:
- multiple unrelated companies
- multi tenant environment
- multiple invoice layouts
Any hint/idea would be appreciated.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Mike from Hotwax Media mentioned I should reach out to the users mailing
list to see if there is anyone who might be available for some
consulting. I've been digging into OFBiz quite a bit, trying to get
OFBiz setup for my new business. We're a distributor, and we want to
