When using ActiveMQ standalone installation, I am able to purge a queue or
delete a message from queue using the web console; But when configuring
ActiveMQ as Fail Over cluster (using two nodes - master and slave
configuration); when attempting to purge a queue through the web console;
this situation?
- Is there anyway to tell AMQ to ignore the problematic message and
continue the dispatching?

The first comment head me in the right direction, and the last link gave me
invaluable information on how to debug the AMQ movements.
Eventually, it seems to be a problem of pending ACK. I'll take a deeper look
on it, because all the messages have been correctly delivered, but sometimes
AMQ does
I'm having the same problem.
In addition, if you use a message selector (like the one to select by
priority) you will have an error like this one:
