Hi Radhika,
May I know how can I view the release notes in normal HTML format, instead
of the original XML format?
Does it specifically contain migration steps from 4.1.1 to 4.2.0?
Would like to try again to upgrade my current CloudStack 4.1.1 to 4.2.0,
provided I can get the detailed
Hello Steven,
in our case it was a matter of missing DB credentials set in the config file:

Hello Vadim,
do you have the usage_job table empty as well?
What I did in addition to setting DB properties is changing the following
global
usage.sanity.check.interval= 1

I am currently using cloudstack 4.1.1 with Vmware 5.0 Hypervisor with 96gb ram
and primary iscsi storage of 11TB. Secondary storage is an NFS server with
300gb allocated. None of these have over 50% of their resources allocated. Many
devs were having issues accessing the consoles of instances.
Thanks Indra.
I shall attach the PDF file at

Hello,
I am not able to deploy a VM any more with the following Exception:
2013-09-20 16:14:58,252 INFO [user.vm.DeployVMCmd] (Job-Executor-8:job-1501)
com.cloud.exception.InsufficientServerCapacityException: Unable to create a
deployment for VM[User|test114]Scope=interface
Are you attempting to create a VM with ~60 GB of RAM? That would push the
allocation percentage for memory past 85%.

Hello all,
I have this database VM running Mysql and I am getting this weird problem,
the Mysql is suddenly stopping working because the VM file systems has
become read only, so in order to fix the problem I have to run fsck -D -f -
v -p and then reboot the VM.
I am not understanding why this
Curious if this should go to the dev list as it is a little more specific that
most of the requests I am seeing here? Any advice is appreciated as I am new
here, thank you.

I had a thought. Should I just terminate the datacenter Internet feed

Hi,
I'm setting up CS 4.1.1 in a datacenter and have been assigned a single

I'm trying to determine the best way to configure the networking,
routing and switching for the TOR.
On XenServer hosts, I plan to share Public and Guest traffic on one

Hey Guys,
How are we doing at the 4.2 release ?
I'm in the position of electing and migrating a ~1700vm architecture to a cloud
solution. We choose to build a POC with cloudstack. But I'm waiting for a while
to finally have security groups in advanced networks which is the feature for

Open vSwitch is not required. For this configuration I don't think any
special configuration is required on the host or in CloudStack. Try
simply adding the host. CloudStack should detect the default gateway on
eth0 and create the necessary bridge on it. All traffic types will use
that bridge
Hi Bjoern,
From what I understand, there's another major bug found related to VPC
which requires a re-spin of the 4.2 RC. Vote for release of this RC has
just started and will end on EOD Monday. So hopefully it will be released
by the next weekend? Let's hope so. :)
Thank you.
