Hi Wido and all,
Good day to you, and thank you for your e-mail reply.
Yes, from the agent logs I can see that the RBD snapshot was created.
However, it seems that CPU utilisation goes up drastically during the
copying over of the snapshot from primary storage to the secondary storage.

A quick glance and I'm seeing your ifcfg-eth1 is referencing Bridge=Cloudbr1
and that need to be BRIDGE=cloudbr1.
Not sure if that's totally your problem, but it would keep your eth1 interface
from coming up. As for the rest, I'm not sure.

You have to manually create the pool first in ceph and then add to cloudstack.
On server side api calls are logged in in
/var/log/cloudstack/management/apilog.log file and client side you can capture
the api calls by enabling the firbug on firefox browser.

You are calling as a system user (port 8096) but for the account vdc3880

As you said suggestion 1 fits in fine for your use case.
One clarification though - would you be creating the vms as an admin and

This is preferable for vm usage calculations.

Moment a public template is added, its download is requested on all the
